In maths we have been learning how to subtract and to add fractions with the same denominators and you only add/subtract the numerator and the denominator stays the same.

For example:
2/4 + 1/4 = 3/4
9/20 + 10/20 = 19/20
4/10 + 5/10 = 9/10
15/100 + 45/100 = 60/100
How to add fractions with the same denominators.

For example:
3/4 - 1/4 = 2/4
19/20 - 10/20 = 9/20
9/10 - 5/10 = 4/10
10/100 - 15/100 = 5/100
