Tonga hit by the worst storm in 60 years

My Response -
I think that the cyclone that happened in Tonga was such a sad tragedy,
I hope nobody got hurt because a lot of people's houses were blown away.
I just hope that everybody made it.

GOSPEL REFLECTION

TASK - Read the gospel for the first Sunday of Lent and write a reflection.

* I learnt in the Gospel that doesn’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing so your giving may be in secret, then your father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. 

* I learnt that when you pray go into your room & pray to your father who is unseen & when the father sees what is done in secret, He will reward you.

* I learnt when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others.

The Welcome of the Statue of Mary

On a beautiful sunny day we went to the church to see the statue of Mary because the nuns brought her to New Zealand after getting blessed from Pope Francis and after the nuns were telling us about their journey to New Zealand, the whole school did the Rosary, every class took a turn saying the Rosary even the teachers, we all said the rosary nice and quickly.

I was inspired by the nuns because they told us what CARE stands for, and they told us to do the rosary everyday and from that day I was doing the rosary every night before I went to bed because it is the right time for me to do it because my family is always playing music and they are always loud.

After that the nuns told us that the statue is going to be there until 2 o’clock and my class went there 10 minutes before they were taking to take our time to be silent.

Hi everyone it is nice to be back to school this year. This year I would be focusing on Reading and Writing because last year I did really really bad and I want to improve so that I could get into a good college. This year I will be posting a lot more because I did a small amount of blogging last year because I really didn't want to blog.
